    Aaah, Bonnie. I thought you were going to tell us we could use their videos with Affiliate Video Wizard to get loads of traffic!

    It’s true what you said. We all seem to be obsessed with the competition and forget that there are billions of people out there waiting to be sold something.

    I was doing a product on video marketing and thought about abandoning it because there are so many more experienced experts out there with big budgets and lists. But then I thought that they are only reaching a fraction of the market and there is room for one (or a hundred) more product creators.

    Wow! Now this is insight I can use! Recently another marketer used Britney in a headline something like “How a Mother of Two got 160,000 hits on You Tube” just when her last video came out. She increases traffic, and as others have said the “sheep” will follow.

    Some might say using celebrity names to pull traffic is blackhat tactics, but I disagree. Using it to direct people to legitimate products that improve lives and incomes is a fantastic way to turn a fascination into a real return on investment. What do you think, Bonnie!?!

    Bonnie Crammer (have you noticed the most intelligent women seem to be named Bonnie?) asks if I think using celebrity names in a post is a “black hat” technique. No, Bonnie, it’s more of a “Red Hat” technique. ( http://www.redhatsociety.com/ ) , i.e. the sort of thing one writes after coming home to a wide-open internet connection with one too many lunch cocktails under the belt. And what was the major topic of conversation at that luncheon? Britney Spear’s latest breakdown, Angelina Jolie’s maybe-baby bump, and hometown girl (Tampa,FL) Jessica Sierra’s televised stint in rehab.

    This is what active, intelligent women are talking about. This is also what couch-potato morons are talking about. People of every class, color and creed seem obsessed with celebrity news, and addressing that fascination in any fashion or format is not “black hat.” It is social commentary.In search engine terms, social commentary = actual content. And real, relevant content, as Google keeps telling us, is the best SEO technique of all.
