Good for you, Kerryanne. Just write it! I maintain blogs for several professionals whose target group is extremely difficult to categorize in one or two keywords. But by consistently posting well-written articles containing solid information those target groups would want to read, these blogs have all managed to attract the type of people my clients need.

Hi Bonnie. I've been sitting for the last two hours battling with keyword research. It is a thing I loathe and detest and you're right, it does indeed stunt not only my creativity but also my productivity. I could have written at least 3 articles now on the subject I'm passionate about but alas, google and other keyword research tools just continue to chalenge me. I stumbled on your article by chance after researching whether or not it was possible for blind people to do keyword research. It was a breath of fresh air. Maybe I'll just write my content and to heck with google. Thanks.

Tom, Chase's doesn't register strictly personal holidays. You'll have to come up with something that has wider impact , like "Share A Popsicle With A Parrot Week."

Wow, Bonnie, I thought I was the only one who had created a holiday! Thanks for showing me I am wrong....my holiday is called HanuThanksMas (c) and we have had two yearly observances so far, mostly involving friends gathered around the banquet table. It comprises the best of some important (to me) holidays, and eschews the commercial aspects of all of them.

NOW...on to Chase's register!

Thanks for the correction, Corey. I didn't find you on Twitter when I first searched your name, but then I sometimes hear from subscribers saying they didn't find me when they searched my name. I assume it's the result of Twitter being too busy. It turns out I won't be able to make the Miami event, but I'll be looking for your tweets from it!

Hi Bonnie,

first, I hope i see you at the seminar - I'm assuming you meant the one in Miami? Should be a great event! Just to clarify, I have been on twitter for quite some time. you can find me at twitter.com/coreyperlman and twitter.com/ebootcamp. having said that, i agree with you that twitter is, in now way, a necessity for any business. people should give it a shot and see if its right for them. i've seen lots of people do well with twitter and many people just get annoyed by it. as far as having assistants tweet for us, i do all of my own tweeting. but i'm not against having others tweet for you as long as they know your business.

thanks for the post and I'll look forward to meeting you in the future!

all the best,

Hi Bonnie

Glad to hear you are warming up. You're right - most people associate Florida with warm sunny days and a great winter getaway.

Love the pictures.

Take care and keep getting warmer!
Cheers,
Elaine
